One burger and most of the fries later, I had determined several

Bob, I was just wondering. Given that Doug has an A.I. with him with a little experience with androids, AND a sample of Handwavium, is there any chance of the Buffy-bot showing up earlier than canon? I mean, the tactical and stratigic advantage of having the most public heavy hitter in two places at once (possibly posted by an illusion spell) are obvious.

This forum is intended for the discussion of the thirteenth and final Step in the Drunkard's Walk, entitled "Glory Hound" and set in the world of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I am writing this Step in collaboration with Helen "Wetter Hexe" Imre. It is under active development, with a complete outline spanning the entire fifth season of Buffy, and a little beyond, and as of the date of this post, we have begun writing Chapter One.

Helen, Peggy and I have been watching season 5 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer one night a week for the last few weeks, and we've been plotting. The outline is nowhere near complete, but what we've got already... hooo boy. It's going to be an interesting ride.

I was thinking about the Buffy step - and since I've been reading a lot of btvs fanfic lately - I was wondering how Doug would see Dawn/the Key. Is she a god? Just power? (Although one could argue gods are power with consciousness.)

In Misunderstandings by Don Sample, she has an oversoul and an avatar ... which really sounds a lot like what's going on with the Fates, although in her case it seems slightly more similar to WH in that there is only ONE Dawn in THAT universe, rather than...

Would Glory actually qualify as a God to Doug? Or just a Very Powerful Demon? (and, though it's not really relevant...what would he make of Illyria?)

Reviving an old put-on-hold Step possibility

Since "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" ended last season, and "Angel" has been announced to be cancelled at the end of this season, and the putative "Ripper" shows no sign of getting out of the wishful-thinking stage... what are the chances of that world's being revived as a possible setting for a Step?

Okay, as noted in another topic, these were a couple of things that I wrote a while back. The first is my complete set of notes plus a few scenes for a BtVS Step set early in the show's continuity, somewhere in the first or second season. (Despite the mention of Glory at one point.) The second bit is just a one-off throwaway thing I wrote more as tension relief toward the end of the Glory plotline a season and a half ago. It is not to be taken seriously.
