Okay, apparently the posting page seems to have lost all the buttons, and it seems to enjoy line breaks disappear. This happening to anyone else?

Well, it appears that Yuku has finally pulled its head from its collective butt and fixed the whitewalling problem. Apparently hundreds of boards were missing in action for the last couple days or so.

I trust you all missed me?

Is it just me, or has Yuku been more broken than usual recently?

Twice now in as many days, Yuku's nameservers have turned blue and died on me. There's a certain amount of broken I'm willing to accept from any popular website, but to lose the goddamn *nameservers*...

Seems like it is... three different searches now, all for topics that I know exist (and can find manually by scrolling through the past posts), nada. Also, a search on my own username failed to turn up any results either.

When I try to browse the forums I just get a blank page, however the list of all forums is working fine and I can use the last post link in the overall list to get to a post. This is more than slightly annoying.

Said spammer just asked for membership -- by sending me a spam about his products.

Discovered that I can't enter text into the message box when I tried sending a forum message to Bob. I've got my preferences set to use the editor that actually works with Netscape, but that doesn't seem to help with the popup message composition window.

(Oh, and Bob? check your e-mail...)

post status icons missing?

In the past few days I have noticed that the "Unread Message" "New Posts" and "Hot Topic with New Posts" icons no longer show up.
Instead they are replaced with the above text.

I don't think it's just me as I have seen this on three separate machines, both firefox and safari, logged in and logged out.

I first thought that the images where not being found, and I was seeing the alt-text.
But after a quick browse over the source...

The people -- all 22 of them -- have spoken, and I have turned on polling in almost all the forums on the board.

The only boards without polling are now Introductions, Marketplace and Archived Fanfic Recommendations.

In particular, I hate the little graphic smilies provided by Yuku -- because they can replace a perfectly good bit of punctuation with no warning.

I'm of a mind to turn them off entirely for the board. If anyone's got any kind of a reason why I shouldn't, speak now.

It reset some of my preferences -- the number of posts per page -- and will not let me change them back unless I start paying.

I find this unacceptable. Adding entirely new features on a pay-for-play basis, that's one thing. Suddenly charging for stuff that was previously free, and is as minor as this? Quite, quite another. >.<#
