so after trying the new X-mas event, this is how it works in a nut shell

winter lord pops up in paragon, when he;s deffeted theres a presnt left behind

when the timer on thats clicks down, you can enter his domain

as you fight him, when he hit's 75%, 50% and 25% he phases and sumons a GM

once you have deffeted all that, you get a chance to leave or,...

Saving every scrap and drab of money I can in order to get a better laptop, which should among other things enable me to play City like it was meant to be played. It's looking like three or four months.

I do intend to come back for the winter holidays, though; many of my toons need halos. :)

So, as noted elsewhere, the Omega Team Time Capsule was opened. A lot of interesting lore, but the most interesting one to me is the letter from Branforth the Seer, which seems to be a variety of riddles. One wonders what they mean....

I often dream of things unbidden, secrets reveal'd and secrets hidden, Future, past, or not to be, I cannot say with certainty, But in case I won't return, these visions from my letter learn, And so before Omega leaves... I here...

With Wiregeek's retirement from City of Heroes, he left me with a large batch of influence and another batch of enhancements. I'll have a full inventory at some point of the latter.

Something's come up with my folks down in Oklahoma that needs, must be, tended to. Tentative flight leaves December 6th depending on test results. I'll be without my computer for a month or so but have arranged for it to be sent after me.
